This unique coffee is grown in The Kintamani highlands, atop a large volcanic plateau between 1,300-1,700 meters above sea level. The traditional farmers cooperative, Subak Abian, uses 100% organic fertilizers and no pesticides as it is prohibited across Bali island. The coffee tree varieties include Bourbon and Typica, and is grown alongside shade citrus trees such as Orange and Tangerine. This brings bright acidity while the natural process lends a delicate sweetness resulting in a complex array of flavors.
